How Guan Ho Grew From Quality Forms to a Shared Digital Workspace Across 9 Sites and 20 Subcontractors
How Guan Ho expanded from starting to digitize 10 quality forms to a fully functional workspace that supports 9 active sites and 20 subcontractors with GoBuid.

You don't have to change everything at once to start seeing the benefits of going digital. Sometimes, the best place to start is with something your team already knows well.
That's exactly how it went for Guan Ho.
Starting With What Already Works
When we first sat down with Guan Ho's team, we didn't begin with a long list of features. We started with a question: what's already part of your day-to-day that we can make easier?
For their quality team, the answer was clear. They were already doing ISO-related quality assessments and inspections on paper, forms their QA inspectors knew by heart. So that's where we began. With support from our team, Guan Ho brought over 10 quality assessment and inspection forms into GoBuild's Forms Builder, either rebuilding them or importing what they already had.
Nothing about the work changed. The forms were the same ones their inspectors were used to filling out on site. What changed was where those forms lived, and how much easier they became to fill out, submit, and track.
That's usually all it takes to get started. Not a big shift, just a familiar task made lighter.
Growing at Their Own Pace
Once Guan Ho's quality team got comfortable, other teams started asking what else the workspace could do for them.
Today, their GoBuild workspace holds a much wider library of forms, covering quality, safety, HR, and other day-to-day needs across their sites. Each form can be prepared and assigned to the exact person who needs to act on it, whether that's a site engineer signing off on an inspection, a safety officer logging an incident, or an HR staff processing onboarding paperwork. Everything gets completed, signed off, and submitted in the same place, so no one has to chase down a form or wonder if it reached the right person.
This is what we mean when we say technology should equip your team, not replace how they already work. Each role still does what they've always done. They just have a clearer, faster way of doing it.
Bringing the Whole Project Network In
Guan Ho now runs nine active sites, and they recently welcomed 20 subcontractors into their GoBuild workspace.
That's not a small step. Every subcontractor comes in with their own pace, their own habits, and their own comfort level with new tools. What made it work wasn't rushing everyone to adapt at once. It was giving them the same forms and the same straightforward process that Guan Ho's own team had already gotten used to, so subcontractors could learn the workspace the same gradual way: one form, one submission, one sign-off at a time.
What started as 10 forms for one team has grown into a shared space that now supports an entire project network. Site teams, subcontractors, and office staff are all working from the same source of information, no matter where they are.
More Room to Grow, Not More to Carry
What we've seen with Guan Ho is something we see with a lot of contractors who are exactly where they are: adopting technology doesn't mean overhauling how you build. It means finding the one part of your process that's ready for it, getting comfortable there, and letting it grow from there at your own pace.
Guan Ho didn't set out to digitize their whole operation. They just wanted their quality forms to work a little better. That one decision opened the door to connecting their sites, their teams, and their subcontractors in ways they hadn't planned for at the start, without adding more paperwork or more coordination to manage.
Technology isn't here to change the way you build. It's here to give you more ways to grow the business you've already built.
